Giants sign 9 undrafted rookie free agents

Roster-building doesn't end with the draft.

In addition to their seven-man draft class, the New York Giants announced the signings of nine undrafted free agents with rookie minicamp here. They will have an opportunity just like everyone else to make the final roster in the fall and can start to showcase their skills in the upcoming OTAs and rookie minicamp.

"Yeah, we are always going to be looking to continue to improve," general manager Joe Schoen said after the conclusion of last week's draft. "We'll never be satisfied. We'll continue. Again, right now is another opportunity to add players and depth in competition with the college free agency process. Then we'll have a rookie minicamp next weekend, so we'll have some players that will be here for that. Ideally, we have a bunch of 53 Pro Bowlers, but that's impossible. We'll continue to find where we need to add depth or maybe light on a starter or whatever it may be, but we'll continue to add depth and competition at all times."
